Tata Sierra Legend Series Launched, Priced From Rs. 11.99 Lakhs

Tata has expanded the Sierra range with the launch of the new Legend Series. The new range brings more premium features, added comfort and greater convenience to the Sierra, with prices starting at ₹11.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Legend Series is available in five variants – Smart + L, Pure L, Pure L (O), Pure + L and Adventure + L. The idea is to make the more premium Sierra experience available to customers across a wider price range, while retaining the SUV’s distinctive design, technology, performance and safety features.

The new Sierra Legend Series starts with the Smart + L variant, priced at ₹11.99 lakh. It gets leatherette seats, door trims and armrests, steering-mounted controls, auto-fold ORVMs and Passive Entry & Passive Start (PEPS). Other features include Bi-LED projector headlamps, an electronic parking brake and ESP. Safety features include six airbags, while the Sierra continues to be based on a 5-star Bharat NCAP-rated body structure.

Priced at ₹13.79 lakh, the Pure L brings a more premium cabin and additional technology. It gets 17-inch alloy wheels, leatherette interiors and a 26.03 cm HD touchscreen infotainment system paired with an eight-speaker audio system. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also offered. The Pure L also gets cruise control, Hill Descent Control and TPMS.

The Pure L (O) sits above the Pure L and is priced at ₹14.29 lakh. For an additional ₹50,000 over the Pure L, this variant adds Tata’s Panoramax voice-assisted panoramic sunroof. It also gets automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers. This makes the panoramic sunroof available on the Sierra from ₹14.29 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Pure + L is priced at ₹14.99 lakh and adds several features aimed at improving passenger comfort. It gets ventilated front seats, a six-way powered driver’s seat with a thigh-support extender and Boss Mode. Dual-zone fully automatic climate control is also part of the package. For rear passengers, the variant gets dual 65W USB-C fast chargers.

At the top of the Legend Series range is the Adventure + L, priced at ₹16.99 lakh. This variant adds more technology and capability-oriented features, including a 360-degree HD Surround View System with 4Sight, Superglide Suspension with FDD and multiple terrain modes. It also gets a larger 31.24 cm touchscreen infotainment system and a 26.03 cm digital cockpit with navigation. Front parking sensors, ambient lighting, a two-stage reclining rear seat, a wireless charger and a cooled glovebox are also included.

The Tata Sierra continues to be offered with three engine options. These include the 1.5-litre Revotron petrol, 1.5-litre Hyperion TGDi petrol and 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel engines. Depending on the variant and engine, customers can choose between manual and automatic transmissions.
