Kia Carens Clavis AT Gets New Affordable Variants

The Kia Carens Clavis variant line-up has been updated with more affordable automatic variants. These are available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The Clavis HTE (O) can now be had with the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine paired to a 7-speed DCT and the 1.5-litre CRDI diesel engine paired to a 6-speed AT. The HTE (O) petrol DCT is priced at Rs. 14.67 Lakh while the HTE (O) diesel AT is priced at Rs. 15.82 Lakh.

Next is the HTE (EX) trim which gets the 1.5 turbo petrol DCT combo at Rs. 15.22 Lakh. With the HTE (O) and HTE (EX) automatic variants, you also get some extra features that aren’t available if you opt for MT. You get a smart key with motion sensor, push start button, drive modes, EPB and remote engine start.

These new variants are aimed at buyers who want a proper automatic experience with the Clavis but don’t want to spend more to get the higher trims.
