Mercedes-Benz Opens First Studio In Delhi-NCR, Gurugram

Mercedes-Benz has opened its first Mercedes-Benz Studio in India, with the new facility located at DLF One Horizon Centre in Gurugram. The Studio is positioned as a customer-focused space that brings together the brand’s vehicles, design elements and lifestyle offerings under one roof.

Unlike a conventional dealership, the Studio is designed around brand engagement and product exploration. Visitors can view vehicles while also accessing a design and material library showcasing various finishes and customisation possibilities.

The facility also features the Mercedes-Benz lifestyle collection, Mercedes-AMG X adidas merchandise and a Lavonne Café. Mercedes-Benz says similar Studio-format locations are already present in more than 14 countries across four continents.

The first vehicle displayed at the new Gurugram facility is the Mercedes-AMG GT XX Concept. The four-door electric performance car is finished in Sunset Beam Orange and provides a preview of Mercedes-AMG’s approach to future high-performance EVs.

The concept uses the company’s AMG Electric Architecture (AMG.EA) and an 800V electrical system. Its powertrain comprises three axial-flux electric motors, producing a combined 1341 HP.

Mercedes-AMG also claims the GT XX can accept charging at up to 850kW. Under suitable conditions, the company says this allows approximately 400km of additional range to be added in around five minutes.

The opening of the Studio gives Mercedes-Benz another format through which to engage customers in the Delhi-NCR market, while the GT XX Concept provides the headline display at the new location.
