Jeep Compass 85th Anniversary Edition Launched At Rs. 26.70 Lakhs

Jeep celebrates 85 years with an exclusive Compass edition featuring cosmetic enhancements.

Jeep India has introduced the Compass 85th Anniversary Edition to commemorate the brand’s global 85-year milestone. The special edition is priced from Rs. 26.70 lakhs (ex-showroom) and will be available in a limited run of just 85 units across the country.

The anniversary model does not receive any mechanical upgrades but distinguishes itself with cosmetic enhancements, additional accessories and new convenience and safety features.

The Compass 85th Anniversary Edition retains the SUV’s familiar styling while incorporating a few exclusive design elements. It features 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels, anniversary-themed exterior detailing and unique badging that set it apart from the standard model.

With production restricted to 85 units, Jeep is positioning the special edition as a more exclusive offering within the Compass range.

Inside, the SUV gets an all-black cabin complemented by Mayan Gold accents and anniversary-specific detailing. The overall dashboard layout remains unchanged, with the updates focused primarily on the interior theme and trim finishes.

Jeep is also offering an 85th Anniversary AXS Personalisation Package that adds several accessory-based features. These include a digital inside rear-view mirror (IRVM), front and rear dashcams, ambient cabin lighting and illuminated sunroof surrounds, marketed as SkyLounge lighting.

The additional equipment is intended to enhance convenience and personalisation rather than alter the core feature set of the Compass.

The special edition continues to use Jeep’s 2.0-litre Multijet II turbo-diesel engine, producing 170 HP and 350 Nm of torque.

Transmission options remain unchanged, with buyers able to choose between a six-speed manual gearbox and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Jeep’s four-wheel-drive system continues to be offered on higher-spec variants.

Bookings for the Compass 85th Anniversary Edition are now open through authorised Jeep dealerships and the company’s online sales platform.

With only 85 units allocated for India, the special edition is aimed at buyers seeking a more exclusive version of the Compass without changes to its mechanical package.
