New Audi Q3 Teased Ahead Of India Debut On August 25

Audi has teased the third-generation Q3 ahead of its India debut, scheduled for August 25, 2026. The premium compact SUV arrives with a redesigned exterior, a revamped interior and an updated equipment list, marking the beginning of Audi’s latest generation of products for the Indian market.

The new Q3 retains its familiar proportions but adopts a significantly updated design language inside and out. It is expected to continue targeting buyers in the premium compact SUV segment.

While the overall shape remains recognisable, the new Q3 receives a redesigned front fascia along with new alloy wheel designs and revised styling elements.

At the rear, the SUV features newly designed tail-lamps connected by a full-width light bar, complemented by an illuminated Audi logo. These updates bring the Q3 in line with the brand’s latest global design direction.

The cabin has been comprehensively updated with a redesigned dashboard and centre console. Audi has also introduced new digital displays and a revised multifunction steering wheel.

The upcoming Q3 will be the first model from Audi’s latest global product generation to be launched in India, bringing the brand’s newest interior design and technology package to the market.

The India-spec Q3 is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged TFSI petrol engine producing 188hp and 320Nm of torque.

Transmission duties are likely to be handled by a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, while Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system is expected to be offered as standard across the range.

Audi is also expected to introduce the Q3 Sportback in India later this year, expanding the Q3 line-up.

Once launched, the new Audi Q3 will continue to compete in the premium compact SUV segment against rivals such as the BMW X1 and the Mercedes-Benz GLA. Buyers in a similar price bracket may also consider premium electric SUVs such as the Hyundai Ioniq 5, BYD Sealion 7 and Kia EV6.
