Hyundai has introduced a new ‘VIBE’ edition to the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS, aimed at adding a more expressive and feature-rich option within its hatchback portfolio. The update brings a combination of cosmetic enhancements, new technology additions, and a fresh colour option, while retaining the core strengths of the model.
The VIBE edition, available in Sportz and Sportz (O) trims, introduces several exclusive styling elements. These include black-painted alloy wheels, a black interior theme with red inserts, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The overall visual package gives the hatchback a slightly sportier and more youthful character compared to the standard variants.
A notable addition is the inclusion of a dashcam, which is a first in the segment. Offered in both the VIBE edition and the Asta variant, the dashcam supports multiple recording modes such as driving, emergency, vacation, and on-demand video capture, along with photo functionality. It also allows users to access recordings directly on their smartphones via a dedicated app, adding a layer of practicality and safety.
In terms of features, the VIBE edition retains key equipment such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, projector headlamps, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Safety continues to be addressed with the standard inclusion of six airbags.
Mechanically, there are no changes, with the VIBE edition offered in both 5-speed manual and AMT options, allowing buyers to choose based on their driving preference.
Alongside the new edition, Hyundai has also introduced a Titan Grey Matte exterior colour for the Grand i10 NIOS, which stands out as a unique offering in the segment. Additionally, the Asta variant has been updated with the inclusion of the dashcam, extending this feature beyond the special edition.
