Škoda Slavia Prestige

Skoda Auto India has launched the updated Slavia at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs. 10 lakhs. The facelift arrives around four years after the sedan was introduced and brings changes to its styling, equipment and automatic transmission options.

The Slavia continues to compete in the midsize sedan segment against the Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City and Hyundai Verna. While the overall design and engine lineup remain familiar, Skoda has focused on adding features and making some mechanical revisions with this update.

Skoda Slavia facelift price

The Slavia facelift starts at Rs. 10 lakh for the 1.0 TSI Classic with a manual gearbox. Prices extend up to Rs. 18.84 lakhs for the 1.5 TSI Monte Carlo.

The entry price remains unchanged compared with the outgoing model, while the highest-priced version is Rs. 64,000 more expensive.

Skoda Slavia facelift exterior changes

The facelift retains the basic proportions and silhouette of the existing Slavia, but several details have been revised. The front-end changes include updated LED headlamps with segmented daytime running lights, revised grille detailing and new LED fog lamps.

The bumper has also been redesigned with a sportier treatment and a revised lower air intake. New 16-inch alloy wheels add another visual change along the side, while the chrome detailing around the windows continues.

At the rear, the sedan gets revised LED tail-lamps with sequential turn indicators, updated Skoda branding and a redesigned bumper.

Skoda has also introduced new exterior colours, including Arctic Silver and Capuccino Beige. The Monte Carlo variant continues with a more distinctive appearance, featuring black exterior elements, red detailing, dedicated badging and dual-tone paint options.

Slavia facelift dimensions

The updated sedan retains the same fundamental dimensions, including its 2651 mm wheelbase. It measures 4552 mm long, 1752 mm wide and 1507 mm tall.

Skoda Slavia facelift interior and features

The cabin layout remains largely familiar, with the facelift concentrating on equipment and trim changes rather than a comprehensive redesign.

The regular variants continue with a beige-and-black interior, while the Monte Carlo gets a predominantly black cabin with red accents and variant-specific graphics. The seats on standard versions now use monotone leatherette upholstery, while the Monte Carlo gets black leatherette seats with contrasting red stitching.

The two-spoke steering wheel, circular air vents and touch-operated climate controls continue to be part of the dashboard layout.

Among the key additions is a larger 10.1-inch infotainment screen with Google AI Assistant support. It is accompanied by a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with configurable displays.

Another notable addition is a 360-degree camera. The Slavia also becomes one of the few cars in its segment to offer a rear-seat massage function.

Skoda has also revised the air-conditioning system with a variable-geometry compressor, aimed at improving cooling performance. Other features carried over include a single-pane sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, powered and ventilated front seats and an eight-speaker audio system.

One notable omission is an advanced driver assistance system, which is available on some competing models.

Skoda Slavia facelift engine and gearbox options

The engine lineup remains unchanged. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol produces 115 HP and 178 Nm, while the 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol develops 150 HP and 250 Nm.

The 1.0 TSI continues with a 6-speed manual gearbox, while the 1.5 TSI is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.

The major transmission change concerns the 1.0 TSI automatic. Skoda has replaced the previous 6-speed automatic with an eight-speed torque-converter unit.

This gives buyers another automatic option without changing the engine’s output. The combination of the familiar TSI engines and revised transmission lineup means the facelift focuses more on refinement and equipment than a fundamental mechanical overhaul.

Skoda Slavia facelift: what’s changed?

The Slavia facelift retains the core package of the existing sedan while addressing areas such as equipment, air-conditioning performance and automatic transmission choice. The exterior changes are relatively restrained and the cabin architecture remains familiar.

With prices starting at Rs. 10 lakhs, the updated Slavia continues to occupy the same broad price band as before, while the additional features and new 8-speed automatic expand its equipment and transmission offering.
