2026 Hyundai Exter Knight Edition Launched, Priced From Rs. 8.14 Lakhs

Hyundai has launched the 2026 Exter Knight Edition in India, with prices starting at Rs. 8.14 lakhs (ex-showroom). Based on the facelifted Exter introduced earlier this year, the special edition is available on the HX 6 petrol, HX 6 CNG and HX 10 petrol AMT variants. It carries a premium of Rs. 15,000 over the corresponding standard trims.

The Knight Edition was first introduced in 2024 and now returns with the updated Exter. It brings a number of cosmetic enhancements while retaining the same features and mechanical specifications as the standard model.

On the outside, the SUV gets blacked-out Hyundai logos, black Exter lettering at the front and rear, and dark grey inserts on the front and rear bumpers. It also comes with 15-inch alloy wheels finished in black or dark grey, red front brake callipers, and a Knight badge on the tailgate.

The Exter Knight Edition is available in five exterior colours: Titanium Black, Atlas White, Starry Night, Titan Grey and Golden Bronze. It is not offered in the Ranger Khaki shade available on the regular Exter.

Inside, the cabin gets an all-black theme with black fabric seat upholstery and brass-coloured accents on the dashboard. The footwell lighting has also been changed to amber, replacing the blue lighting found on the standard model.

The equipment list remains unchanged. The HX 6 variant continues to offer an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, a single-pane sunroof, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and a rear parking camera with sensors. The HX 10 additionally gets connected car technology, a wireless phone charger, a cooled glovebox, and a rear wiper and washer.

Powertrain options remain the same. The Exter is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 83 HP and 114 Nm, paired with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT. The CNG version develops 69 HP and 95 Nm and is available only with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The 2026 Hyundai Exter Knight Edition is aimed at buyers looking for a sportier appearance without any changes to the SUV’s performance or feature set.
