CEAT SecuraDrive CIRCL 90 & 50 Launched, Feature Use Of Sustainable Materials Up To 90%

CEAT has launched SecuraDrive CIRCL, which will be a road-ready passenger car tyre using up to 90% sustainable materials. The new tyre was developed at the company’s research and development facility in Halol, Gujarat. It will be available in two variants with different levels of sustainable content.

Pricing

The two models are CIRCL 90 and CIRCL 50, featuring 90% and 50% sustainable content respectively. Prices start at Rs. 12,999 for CIRCL 90 and Rs. 8,999 for CIRCL 50 respectively. Sales will begin in September 2025 through premium retail outlets and authorised dealerships.

The company says the tyre targets urban customers in the 25 to 45 age group. This demographic includes Tier 1 city residents who are increasingly aware of environmental issues. Currently, they will be available in 215/55 R17 format.

Outlook

According to CEAT, the CIRCL incorporates three patented technologies. These include a Unified Biopolymer Inner Liner, a Glycerol-Based Accelerator, and an Anti-Static Silica Conductive Solution. The technologies are designed to reduce petroleum-based inputs and maintain safety standards.
