Mahindra has unveiled four new SUV concepts, i.e. Vision S, Vision X, Vision T, and Vision SXT, at its Independence Day event. All are based on the versatile NU_IQ platform, set to underpin future models across various vehicle families. While Vision X appears to be part of the XUV range, Vision S aligns with the Scorpio family.
The Vision S concept features a boxy silhouette with sharp lines, delivering a rugged yet modern visual appeal. Its front fascia hosts the twin peaks logo, vertically stacked LED lights, and L-shaped headlamp units. Off-road details include roof-mounted lights, a sturdy bumper, plastic cladding, large wheel arches, flush door handles, slim ORVMs, and new alloy wheels.
Built on Mahindra’s NU_IQ platform, the Vision S measures between 3990 mm and 4320 mm in length. Despite its compact size, it offers the most spacious cabin in its category for sub-4m and 4.3m models. The platform supports multiple powertrains, FWD and AWD layouts, LHD and RHD formats, and features a 2665 mm wheelbase with optimised overhangs.
