Mercedes-Benz has teased the latest GLC with a bold illuminated grille, setting a new benchmark in SUV design. The grille features 140 LEDs behind smoked-glass panels. It also includes 942 backlit squares and an illuminated Mercedes star for added flair.
This new front fascia will make its public debut at the Munich Motor Show later in 2025. You can adjust the grille lighting via the infotainment system. However, this feature depends on local regulations across different global markets.
Built on the MB.EA electric platform, the new GLC is beyond just an ICE conversion. It is designed to replace the EQC in Mercedes’ global electric lineup. The SUV features a longer wheelbase and flush-fitting door handles.
Mercedes will equip the GLC with next-gen MBUX Hyperscreen technology to provide a seamless digital driving experience. Ambient lighting and digital controls will be available, enhancing cabin luxury.
The new electric GLC will launch officially at the 2025 Munich Motor Show. We expect the German SUV to commence sales globally by mid-2026. Mercedes will sell it alongside the existing combustion-engine GLC models.
