Range Rover has revealed the new SV Black Edition. This comes after the brand revealed the Defender OCTA Black and Range Rover Sport SV Black Edition. The Black Edition gets various elements centred around a black theme.
The Range Rover SV Black Edition features a Narvik Gloss Black shade. There are several blacked-out elements like the logos, grilles, and alloy rims. The flagship Range Rover SV features 23-inch alloy rims with black brake callipers.
On the inside, the Black edition gets an ebony leather upholstery. The upper portion of the seats gets diagonal stitching. Additionally, there are black birch wood veneers and a satin-black finish for the gear knob.
Range Rover has added Body and Soul Seat (BASS) and Sensory Floor systems as standard on all SV trim levels. Utilising transducers embedded in the seats and floor, it creates vibrations which allow the occupants to feel the music physically. Notably, the Range Rover SV Black Edition is available in a 5-seater short wheelbase or 4/5-seater long wheelbase configuration.
The BMW-derived 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine powers the Range Rover SV Black Edition. It produces 615 HP and 750 NM of torque, powering all four wheels. The engine pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
This allows the SV Black Edition to accelerate from 0-100 Km/hr in just 4.5 seconds.
The Range Rover SV Black Edition will be showcased at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed from July 10-13. As of present, there is no confirmation regarding a launch for the Indian market.
