Renault has been spotted testing the Triber facelift in Chennai, India. Previously, test mules of the MPV were spotted as well. However, this time the design details have been revealed.
The Triber facelift will feature a redesigned front end with a new design for the bumper. The grille also includes wraparound headlights with integrated LED DRLs. Additionally, hexagonal air dams with circular fog lamps are observable.
The tail lights may also receive updates.
The interior will also receive feature updates, similar to the Nissan Magnite facelift. The brand may offer lighter shades, design changes and soft-touch materials. Renault is expected to keep the 7-seat layout of the MPV.
The facelifted Triber will be powered by the same 1.0-litre naturally aspirated 3-cylinder engine. It produces 71 HP and 96 NM of torque. The engine pairs with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT.
Notably, Renault is expected to offer a CNG kit with the Triber. This will allow the Triber to become a better proposition against the Maruti Ertiga.
