June 2025 top 25 car sales list revealed, Hyundai Creta tops the chart. There are 9 Maruti cars in this list, followed by 5 cars from Mahindra, 4 cars from Hyundai, 3 from Tata Motors, 2 from Kia and Toyota each.

Hyundai Creta emerged as the top-selling car in India for June 2025, reclaiming its position from the Maruti Dzire. According to official sales figures, Hyundai dispatched 15,786 units of the Creta last month, just 302 units more than its closest rival, Dzire.

The Maruti Brezza held the third position with 14,507 units sold. Maruti Ertiga came fourth at 14,151 units sales while the Maruti Swift holds the fifth spot with 13,275 units sales.

However, despite Creta’s position at the top, overall industry numbers suggest a slowdown in demand. With even the segment leader struggling to cross the 16,000-unit mark, the market is showing signs of strain. For comparison, Tata Punch, the top-selling car in June 2024, had notched up 18,084 units, suggesting a notable year-on-year decline in peak sales figures.

As automakers navigate this challenging landscape, June’s numbers point to shifting consumer behaviour and tightening market conditions that are affecting even the most popular models.
