Tata Motors has officially launched the all-electric Harrier EV, with prices starting from Rs. 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric SUV, which enters the market as a rival to the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, will be offered in three variants — Adventure, Fearless and Empowered — along with two battery pack options. Bookings are set to begin on 2nd July, 2025.
Focusing on the entry-level Adventure variant, this base model will exclusively feature the smaller 65kWh battery pack. Despite being the starting option, it comes well-equipped in terms of both design and features.
Exterior Highlights
On the design front, the Harrier EV Adventure gets 18-inch alloy wheels with aero inserts, dual-tone exterior paint, LED bi-projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights and a full-width connected LED tail lamp. Practical elements such as roof rails, integrated side steps, rear washer and wiper, puddle lamps and a shark-fin antenna are also part of the standard package.
Interior and Technology
Inside the cabin, the base variant offers leatherette upholstery and dual-tone interior theme. It includes an eight-way adjustable driver seat and a four-way adjustable front passenger seat, rear AC vents, terrain response modes and multiple drive modes, including a unique drift mode. The infotainment setup is headlined by dual 10.25-inch screens, integrated with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Tata’s iRA connected car suite. Over-the-air (OTA) updates are also supported.
Additional comfort and convenience features include automatic climate control, a sliding front armrest, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, 45W USB-C charging ports and a rear parcel tray. The exterior mirrors are electrically adjustable and foldable, with an auto-fold function.
Safety and Utility
In terms of safety, the Harrier EV Adventure variant offers a comprehensive package. It includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability program (ESP), all-wheel disc brakes and an electronic parking brake (EPB) with auto-hold. Other notable additions are sensor-based reverse parking assist, follow-me-home headlamps and AVAS (Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System).
Utility is further enhanced with features like Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities.
As Tata Motors gears up for deliveries, the Harrier EV’s Adventure variant sets a strong foundation in the mid-size electric SUV segment, balancing price and performance with a robust features list.
