Renault Kwid EV Spotted Testing In India, Based On The Dacia Spring EV

Renault was spotted testing the Kwid EV in India. The electric hatchback’s test mules have been spotted previously as well. However, this time, the Kwid EV appears to be less camouflaged than before, revealing important aspects of the vehicle.

The latest test mule reveals the new Y-shaped tail lights. The Kwid EV also had a rear wiper and steel wheels. The latter signals that the test mule spotted was potentially a base variant.
The Dacia Spring EV was launched last year. It is worth noting that previously, the Dacia version was spied. This version will be rebranded as Renault to sell the Kwid EV in India.

The global version of the electric hatchback gets two options. The base variant has an electric motor that produces 44 HP. The higher variant produces 64 HP.
The electric motor is powered by a 26.8 kWh battery pack, delivering a range of 220 Km.
