Hyundai is set to continue selling the previous generation Venue alongside its newly introduced 2026 model. The older version, which first debuted in 2019 and received a facelift in 2022, will remain on sale in select trims and exclusively with a petrol powertrain.
The outgoing Venue lineup will comprise four variants – Kappa S, Kappa S+, Kappa S(O) and Kappa S(O)+. All variants will be powered by Hyundai’s 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine, producing 60 BHP and 113.8 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
This move enables Hyundai to cater to a broader customer base, providing a more affordable option within the compact SUV segment. The older Venue will continue to rival models such as the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Maruti Fronx, Mahindra XUV 3XO and the newly launched Kia Syros.
Here’s the price list for the variants:
With this strategy, Hyundai aims to maintain the Venue’s strong market presence while offering buyers flexibility between the new-generation model and the more accessible previous iteration.
