Mahindra Bolero Spotted Testing, Features More Production-Ready Elements

The new-generation Mahindra Bolero 2025 has been spotted testing again, this time with more production-ready elements. The tester parked the camouflaged prototype in an open area. The SUV’s design and interior layout revealed significant updates.

Styling

In the front, the Bolero retains its classic upright stance with a flat bonnet. Squared wheel arches help to define the tough look. The rugged front fascia gains modern appeal from a redesigned grille with vertical slats.

Those seen on the Mahindra Thar resemble circular LED headlamps with DRLs on either side. Its premium character enhances by dual-tone alloy wheels. The SUV’s muscular and off-road-ready styling is reinforced by prominent body cladding around the arches.

Through the camouflage, you can see several updates inside, though mostly hidden. The Scorpio N likely provides the new steering wheel. The dashboard hints at a touchscreen system and a refreshed centre console.

These upgrades aim to modernise the Bolero without compromising its utilitarian essence. The SUV still feels built for tough use. Yet, it now appears better suited for both rural and urban buyers.

Engine

We expect Mahindra to retain the current diesel engine platform. The 1.5-litre unit from the Bolero Neo shall be receiving a new tune. A five-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive will likely remain standard.

Outlook

The prototype’s readiness suggests a launch could happen in the coming months. Mahindra is blending ruggedness with refinement for broader appeal. The new Bolero may attract both traditional users and modern SUV enthusiasts.
