The next-generation Kia Seltos has been spotted testing in India. Recently, test mules were spotted at the brand’s South Korean manufacturing plant. Despite the heavy camouflage, the images reveal crucial details about the SUV.
The Kia Seltos receives significant design updates to refresh its look, which has remained largely unchanged since 2019. On the front, the LED DRLs are redesigned with a split structure. There is also a horizontal air intake with the ADAS sensor.
Overall, the proportions of the Seltos will remain similar to the outgoing model. The Kia Seltos features a distinctive window line with a triangular rear quarter glass, updated ORVMs, and dual-tone alloy wheels.
Kia is set to launch a petrol hybrid powertrain with the next-generation Seltos. This hybrid powertrain is expected to be based on the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine. It remains to be seen what the specifications of the battery are and how it impacts the fuel economy of the vehicle.
Furthermore, the turbo petrol and diesel powertrains will be offered in addition to the hybrid model for the next-generation Kia Seltos. The next-generation Kia Seltos is expected to launch globally in the second half of 2025.
