MG M9 Electric MPV Interior & Key Features Unveiled Ahead Of Launch

JSW MG Motor India has today revealed key features and technologies that will accompany the M9 which will be launched soon in India. It will be retailed alongside the Cyberster electric sportscar at the brand’s more premium MG Select dealerships. The pre-bookings for the MG M9 are already underway through the official website for a booking amount of Rs. 51,000.

The British manufacturer has divulged that the M9 is equipped with 16-way adjustable seats featuring eight massage modes, seat ventilation and heating functions. It also comes with a panoramic sunroof, a 64-colour ambient lighting system and a 12-speaker sound system. Interior trim options include pure black and cognac brown upholstery.

The electric MPV features an extended second-row cabin layout for increased space and it made its local debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 earlier this year. The MG M9 will be available in three exterior shades: Cardiff Black, Luminous White, and Mystic Grey. It is expected to compete against the recently launched fourth-generation Kia Carnival in India.

MG will offer the M9 exclusively as an electric vehicle for India, equipped with a 90 kWh battery mounted beneath the floor. It produces 245 bhp and 350 Nm of torque with a WLTP-claimed driving range of approximately 430 km on a full charge. It is expected to arrive in India via the CKD route and could carry an ex-showroom price of around Rs. 65 lakh.

Other highlights of the seven-seat are power sliding rear doors, a 360-degree camera system, ADAS suite, Electronic Stability Control, Auto Hold function and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, a large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, digital instrument console, wireless charger and more.

Commenting on the new offering, Milind Shah, Interim Head, MG Select, said “The MG M9 is a new age car crafted for discerning customers seeking an elevated experience of being chauffeured.
