Mercedes has launched the GLS AMG Line. It is a new AMG Line variant for the brand’s flagship SUV. The new variant is GLS 450 AMG Line, priced at Rs. 1.4 crore (ex-showroom) and GLS 450d AMG Line, priced at Rs. 1.43 crore (ex-showroom).
The AMG Line is an appearance package that adds various elements unique to the brand’s AMG products. These design elements include such as sportier front and rear aprons and AMG side skirts. In addition to this, it also includes blacked-out detailing with night package, and 21-inch AMG alloy rims.
Notably, the night package includes blacked-out trims, including the roof rails and grille inserts.
The interior of the GLS AMG Line sports a Nappa leather-wrapped multifunction sports steering wheel, brushed aluminium AMG sport pedals and floor mats. The rest of the interior is similar to the top-spec GLS SUV.
The Mercedes GLS AMG Line is powered by two engines. There is the 3.0-litre turbocharged 6-cylinder engine, producing 381 HP and 500 NM of torque. The diesel engine is a 3.5-litre V6 engine, producing 362 HP and 750 NM of torque.
The engines pair with the brand’s 9-speed automatic transmission. These powertrains allow the full-size SUV to sprint from 0-100 Km/hr in just 6.1 seconds! Not to mention, the engine sends power to all four wheels.
