Mahindra XUV700 surpasses 3 lakh unit sales milestone since 2021 launch

Mahindra has announced that its flagship SUV, the XUV700, has surpassed the 3 lakh unit sales mark in India. Introduced in August 2021, the XUV700 has steadily gained traction in the competitive SUV market, achieving this milestone within four years of its launch.

The model reached its first major sales benchmark in May 2023, with 1 lakh units sold. Momentum continued as the 2 lakh mark was reached by June 2024 and now, within just over a year, it has added another lakh to its tally, underscoring the strong and growing demand for the vehicle.

Available in a wide range of variants, MX, AX3, AX5, AX5 Select, AX7 and AX7 L, the XUV700 offers both 5- and 7-seater options to cater to varied customer needs. Mahindra has also introduced limited-run versions like the Blaze and Ebony editions to keep the lineup fresh and appealing.

Under the hood, the SUV is offered with two engine choices: a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel both of which are available with either a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. Select variants also offer all-wheel drive, enhancing the SUV’s versatility.

The Mahindra XUV700 is priced between Rs. 14.49 lakhs and Rs. 25.89 lakhs (ex-showroom), offering a mix of performance, features and configurations that have resonated well with Indian consumers.
