Mahindra XEV 9e & BE 6 Deliveries Cross 6,300 Units In Just Over A Month

In just 40 days, Mahindra has delivered 6,300 units of the XEV 9e and BE 6 across India and the waiting period stands at 4-5 months

Mahindra kicked off customer deliveries of its all-electric XEV 9e and BE 6 on March 20, 2025, prioritising the high-end Pack Three variants in the initial rollout. The company has now announced that more than 6,300 units of these battery-powered models have reached buyers and the new waiting period stands at four to five months.

Previously it was noted that the Mahindra XEV 9e has sustained the higher demand of more than 59 per cent and more buyers have chosen to go with the Pack Three grade. To keep pace with surging demand, Mahindra has been steadily increasing production output for the XEV 9e and BE 6. The electric duo attracted an impressive 30,179 bookings on the very first day of reservations.

While top-spec Pack Three deliveries are already underway, the company has also scheduled dispatches of the mid-spec Pack Two variants for July 2025. Customers opting for the base Pack One and slightly higher Pack One Above trims can expect their vehicles to arrive by August. The Pack Three Select deliveries will begin as early as next month.

Both EVs are underpinned by the Inglo skateboard architecture and the modular base will give rise to more born EVs in the coming years. The entry-level Pack One variant of the XEV 9e comes fitted with a 59 kWh battery and is priced at Rs. 21.90 lakh. Moving up the range, Pack Two retains the same battery capacity but commands a higher sticker price of Rs. 24.90 lakh.

At the top end, the Pack Three Select series begins at Rs. 27.90 lakh with the most feature-rich variant reaching Rs. 30.50 lakh. The BE 6 line-up opens at Rs. 18.90 lakh for the base configuration while the slightly more equipped Pack One Above carries a price tag of Rs. 20.50 lakh.

For buyers looking at a mid-spec offering, the Pack Two variant is listed at Rs. 21.90 lakh. Meanwhile, the Pack Three Select trim steps in at Rs. 24.50 lakh with the range-topping Pack Three reaching up to Rs. 26.90 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). Both the XEV 9e and BE 6 are packed with features and they are said to do over 500 km between charges in real-world conditions in the 79 kWh trim.
