Mahindra revealed the Vision X SUV concept at the Freedom_NU event. It appears similar in dimensions to the XUV 3XO. Mahindra carries forward its next-generation design philosophy with futuristic styling and tech-rich interiors in the SUV.
Up front, it features futuristic headlights, DRLs, an X-shaped multi-slat grille, and sleek ORVMs. Two air intake vents, flush door handles, silver skid plates, and squared-off wheel arches with gloss black accents are additional highlights. The rear of the Vision X sports a connected LED tail light bar and gloss black bumpers.
Inside, the Vision X borrows a cockpit-like design with dual digital displays, seemingly from the BE 6. The Vision X offers connected car tech, voice assist, and various smart features. Safety may include multiple airbags and Level 2 ADAS.
Mahindra is expected to price the Vision X, a sub-four-metre SUV, between Rs. 8 to 16 Lakh. The NU_IQ modular platform serves as the foundation for all Vision concepts, including this one. Though the Vision X’s powertrain remains undisclosed, this platform supports multiple powertrains and body styles.
The Mahindra Vision X concept has been jointly developed by MIDS in Mumbai and MADE in Banbury, UK. Mahindra will launch production derivatives based on the Vision X for both domestic and global markets from 2027.
