Mahindra to reveal Vision.T concept SUV on 15th August, evolving Thar.e design

Mahindra has officially confirmed that it will unveil a new concept vehicle, named Vision.T, on 15 August 2025. This upcoming model is expected to build upon the design and vision of the Thar.e concept, which was first introduced in 2023.

A teaser image shared by Mahindra offers a preview of the Vision.T’s design, hinting at a rugged, boxy SUV silhouette that draws clear inspiration from the earlier Thar.e concept. The Thar.e was Mahindra’s vision for an electric future of its iconic Thar, presented as a five-door EV, marking a significant departure from the traditional three-door, off-road focused Thar currently available.

The Vision.T will be part of a larger showcase scheduled for 15 August in Mumbai, during an event titled Freedom_NU. Alongside the Vision.T, Mahindra is expected to reveal at least four other concept vehicles, as well as a new platform that could support both electric and internal combustion engine products.

The Freedom_NU event follows Mahindra’s recent product roadmap announcements, which include the global debut of the Scorpio N Pickup Truck slated for market launch in 2026. With the Vision.T and other upcoming models, Mahindra is likely aiming to solidify its position in both the electric and traditional SUV segments, keeping pace with evolving consumer demands and regulatory shifts.
