Mahindra has unveiled the Vision SXT concept at the ongoing Freedom_NU event, showcasing a rugged and futuristic pickup truck. This bold concept hints at the design and technology that could soon make it into production. The Vision SXT aims to merge utility, performance, and sustainability in one striking package.
Flared wheel arches and a pronounced skid plate accentuate its off-road credentials, giving the exterior a muscular, boxy stance. The angular, sculpted tailgate flanked by vertical tail lamps highlights a distinctive pickup-style open bed. These elements, combined with the high-riding profile, signal both durability and style.
The Vision SXT adopts a minimalist and tech-forward cabin layout inside. Twin digital screens take center stage, complemented by a voice assistant and connected car technology. We expect advanced safety equipment, including Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring, and multiple airbags.
Two anticipated EV options include a single-motor RWD producing between 230 to 250 HP and a dual-motor AWD delivering 300 to 350 HP, with unconfirmed powertrain details. Mahindra is targeting a driving range of 400 to 500 Km with fast-charging capabilities. Mahindra may offer petrol, diesel, and hybrid variants in the future with the modular NU_IQ platform.
Mahindra expects to release the production-ready Vision SXT by late 2026, projecting entry-level prices between Rs. 30 Lakh and Rs. 40 Lakh. Positioning it as India’s first all-electric pickup truck, Mahindra aims to appeal to adventure enthusiasts, urban buyers, and eco-conscious businesses alike.
