Mahindra appears to be gearing up for a busy product cycle, with several models undergoing testing on Indian roads. The latest to be spotted is what seems to be the facelifted version of the Scorpio-N, which has been on sale since mid-2022. The refreshed SUV is likely to make its debut in the second half of 2026.
Initial spy shots reveal a heavily camouflaged prototype, hinting at subtle design revisions rather than a complete overhaul. The facelift is expected to include new bumpers, a revised front grille, updated lighting elements and redesigned alloy wheels, giving the SUV a fresher appearance while retaining its muscular stance.
Inside the cabin, Mahindra is expected to introduce upgraded materials and advanced technology, taking cues from its Born Electric lineup. The SUV may receive an updated dashboard layout, a larger infotainment screen, a fully digital instrument cluster and possibly an enhanced audio system with Dolby Atmos support. New comfort features such as ventilated seats and a driver seat with memory function could also be part of the update, while the three-row seating configuration is expected to remain unchanged.
On the mechanical front, Mahindra is likely to retain the current 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, paired with manual and automatic transmission options. The diesel variant is also expected to continue offering four-wheel drive. Minor tweaks to the suspension setup and powertrain calibration could be introduced to refine the driving experience.
The upcoming Scorpio-N facelift aims to keep the SUV competitive in an increasingly tech-focused and feature-rich segment, blending Mahindra’s rugged appeal with modern updates.
