Land Rover Defender Trophy Edition Unveiled, Inspired By Camel Trophy Cars

Land Rover unveiled the Defender Trophy Edition. This special edition is a homage to the Camel Trophy cars. The Camel Trophy elements include a special paint scheme and special accessories for the Defender 110.

Design Changes

The Defender Trophy Edition features a snorkel that increases the water wading functionality as part of the special edition. The SUV can operate in water with a depth as high as 1.2 metres. The chunky off-road tyres complement the 20-inch alloy rims finished in gloss black.

The Trophy Edition is available in Deep Sandglow Yellow or Keswick Green shades. The livery features Trophy Edition decals on the bonnet and C-pillar.

Interior Changes

The interior features illuminated tread plates which say ‘Trophy’. There is an ebony leather interior to complement the drastic exterior. Additionally, there is a cross-car laser beam which illuminates in the same colour as the paint finish.

Accessories

There is a comprehensive list of accessories, which includes a roof rack, a black deployable roof ladder, side-mounted gear carrier, front and rear mud flaps and a raised air intake. Land Rover prices the pack at GBP 4995 or Rs. 5.79 Lakh. The brand also provides a paint protection film with the Defender Trophy Edition.

Pricing

Land Rover will showcase the special edition Defender at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed from July 10 to July 13. Land Rover prices the Defender Trophy Edition at GBP 89,810 or Rs. 1.04 crore.

The Defender Trophy Edition is limited to just 25 units. Notably, the brand previously made a special edition inspired by the original Defender Trophy of the Land Rover Classic in 2021 and all of them were sold in just 3 days. The brand later released another 25 units of the Land Rover Classic.
