Hyundai is offering a massive discount on the IONIQ 5 EV. The discount is up to Rs. 4 Lakh for the 2024 IONIQ 5. Hyundai launched the IONIQ 5 in 2023 and is currently priced at Rs. 46.07 Lakh (ex-showroom). The premium EV SUV is sold in CKD (Complete Knocked Down) form and assembled locally.

The Hyundai IONIQ 5 is based on the brand’s E-GMP platform. In India, it is offered in a single motor setup, powered by a 72.6 kWh battery. It produces 216 HP and 350 Nm of torque. The IONIQ 5 offers an ARAI-certified range of 631 Km.

The discounts may be to aid the clearance of units to make way for the facelifted IONIQ 5 in India. It is safe to assume that the South Korean brand will launch the facelifted IONIQ 5 in India sometime. The facelifted IONIQ 5’s test mules have been spotted, which strengthens this assumption.

The facelifted IONIQ 5 comes with a larger 84 kWh battery pack and packs a range of 570 Km (WLTP) of range.
