
Hyundai has launched a new Magna Executive variant of the i20 hatchback. The Hyundai i20 now comes with an iVT transmission, while the Sportz (O) is upgraded with the Bose 7-speaker system. Hyundai prices the Magna Executive variant at Rs. 7,50,900 Lakh (ex-showroom).
The Hyundai i20 Magna Executive variant is equipped with safety features like Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and Hill-Start Assist (HSC). It also equips this variant with 15-inch wheels with covers, a digital driver’s display, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Most notably, this variant also receives a sunroof, making it feel more upmarket than other variants.
The Sportz (O) variant comes equipped with premium features like Smart Key and Push Button Start/Stop. Additionally, Hyundai provides a 10-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for Rs. 14,999 for all variants. It also includes a rear-view camera and a 3-year warranty.
A 1.2-litre naturally aspirated engine powers the Hyundai i20, producing 82 HP and 114.7 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to either a 5-speed manual or an iVT automatic transmission. It is important to note that the latter increases its power output to 88 HP while maintaining the same torque output.
