BMW has expanded its X5 lineup with the introduction of the new M Sport Pro variants in India. The brand prices the petrol-powered X5 xDrive 40i M Sport Pro at Rs. 1.13 crore (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, BMW prices the diesel-powered X5 xDrive 30d M Sport Pro at Rs. 1.15 crore (ex-showroom).
The M Sport Pro variants offer sporty upgrades compared to the standard models. These include high-gloss black finishes for the grille, air dam, and exhaust trims. Additional highlights are the M Sport exhaust, red-painted M Sport brakes, Piano Black dashboard inserts, and M seat belts. Key equipment consists of adaptive matrix LED headlamps, air suspension and 21-inch alloy wheels.
BMW also includes the xOffroad package with these trims. It provides four modes: xSand, xRocks, xGravel, and xSnow, for enhanced capability. These modes adjust suspension height, xDrive distribution, throttle response, gearbox settings, and stability control inputs for varied terrains.
Under the hood, the X5 M Sport Pro retains 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine delivers 375 HP and 520 NM of torque, while the diesel engine produces 282 HP and 650 NM of torque. Both engines pair with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and a 48V mild-hybrid system, adding 12 HP and 200 NM of torque.
The interior can be optioned with a dual-tone Tartufo (saddle brown), black, or black and white upholstery. The BMW X5 M Sport Pro is equipped with curved displays, four-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, and a Harman Kardon premium sound system. Notably, the standard BMW X5 is available with a perforated Sensafin upholstery with contrast stitching and cognac leather.
