Renault Kiger Facelift Launched, Features Updated Styling & Feature Additions

Renault has launched the Kiger facelift. The compact SUV gets updated styling, interior enhancements, and new feature additions for 2025. The French automaker prices the compact SUV between Rs. 6.29 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant, up to Rs. 11.29 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec Emotion Turbo CVT variant.

Styling Changes

The exterior showcases a new grille with Renault’s updated logo, a redesigned hood, and refreshed bumpers for a sharper look. Refreshed LED lighting and 16-inch diamond-cut dual-tone alloy wheels further enhance its road presence. Two new shades, Oasis Yellow and Shadow Grey, are available for personalisation for potential buyers.

Interior Changes

In terms of the interior, the Kiger gets leatherette seats with ventilation, a dual-tone dashboard, and premium upholstery for a more upmarket cabin experience. The facelifted Kiger gets additional insulation to reduce cabin noise and improve comfort. Features like a multi-view camera, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic headlamps complement the existing eight-inch floating touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Engine

Mechanically, the SUV remains unchanged, offering 1.0-litre NA petrol producing 72 HP and 96 NM of torque, and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol producing 100 HP and 160 NM of torque. These engines pair with a 5-speed manual, a 5-speed AMT, or a CVT transmission for driving flexibility. Claimed fuel efficiency stands at 19.83 kmpl for NA and 20.38 kmpl for the turbo variant.

Safety Features

Safety now includes six standard airbags across all variants, adding ESP, traction control, hill-start assist, and ISOFIX mounts. A tyre pressure monitoring system further strengthens its safety profile. These upgrades position the Kiger as one of the safest choices in its segment.

With these changes, the facelifted Renault Kiger challenges rivals such as Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Skoda Kylaq, Maruti Fronx, and Nissan Magnite.
