Porsche is developing the next-generation Cayenne, and it is expected to deliver groundbreaking performance in its electric version. Reports suggest that the Cayenne EV could achieve an extraordinary 1000 Km range. This action would set a new benchmark in the luxury electric SUV market.
In terms of design, the Cayenne EV will look cleaner and more aerodynamic than its petrol-powered sibling. The front grille will be mostly closed, with discreet vertical slits that act as air curtains. The Cayenne EV shall feature additional enhancements, including active grille shutters, 20-inch aerodynamic wheels, and slimmer rear tail lamps.
In India, the Cayenne EV will position above the Taycan in Porsche’s lineup. We expect prices to start above Rs. 2 crore (ex-showroom). Rivals may include the BMW XM and Mercedes-Benz G580.
Performance will be another highlight, with outputs expected to reach up to 1000 HP. Combined with a 1000km range, it promises unmatched capabilities. The Cayenne EV is expected to make its global debut later this year, at the Los Angeles Motor Show. The Cayenne EV will arrive before the facelifted petrol and hybrid models planned for 2026.
