Toyota has updated the Urban Cruiser Taisor with two major changes, i.e. a new Bluish Black paint shade and six airbags standard across all variants. The E, S, S+, G, and V trims get dual front, side, and curtain airbags for enhanced occupant safety in this upgrade.
Along with the safety boost, Toyota has revised prices, with most variants seeing a hike of Rs. 12,000, while the S+ variant is up by Rs. 8,000. Toyota now prices the Taisor at Rs. 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom) with a three-year/100,000km warranty, extendable to five years/220,000km.
Two petrol engine options power the SUV, i.e. a 1.2-litre K-Series with 89 HP and 113 NM of torque, and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol producing 99 HP and 147.6 NM of torque. The transmission choices comprise a five-speed manual, five-speed AMT, and six-speed automatic.
Key features consist of LED headlamps with twin DRLs, a dual-tone cabin, a nine-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, cruise control, wireless charging, and Toyota i-Connect connected tech.
