
Jeep has launched Trail Editions for the Compass and Meridian. The brand has also added a ‘Jeep Trust’ ownership program. These special editions will be sold for a limited time and based on the Compass Longitude (O) and Meridian Limited (O) variants.
The Compass and Meridian Trail Editions feature several enhancements like Trail Edition bonnet and body decals, neutral grey accents for the roof rails, badges and ORVMs. There are also 18-inch dual-tone granite crystal alloy rims. The Meridian Trail Edition also gets a high gloss-black roof, piano black inserts, red accents on the front, and black ORVMs.
The interior of the Compass Trail Edition has a black leatherette upholstery with ignite red mid-bolster accents on the dashboard. There is contrasting red stitching on the steering wheel, gear boot, and seats. Additionally, there is also a dark camouflage graphic with all-weather floor mats.
The Meridian Trail Edition’s interior features a black vinyl interior with red accents, camouflage-themed appliques. There is a piano black centre console and speaker surrounds. Additionally, the Meridian also gets rugged skid plates, trail-themed scuff plates, and black ORVMs.
Jeep prices the Compass Trail Edition from Rs. 25.41 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the manual transmission and up to Rs. 27.41 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the automatic transmission. The brand prices the Meridian Trail Edition from Rs. 31.27 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the manual transmission and up to Rs. 37.27 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the 4X4 AT variant.
Jeep tries to enhance the ownership proposition of the Trail Edition by offering a ‘Jeep Trust’ program. This gives a complementary 3-year annual maintenance contract, 5-year extended warranty and a direct cash benefit of Rs. 20,000 to the Compass Trail Edition buyers. The Meridian Trail Edition buyers get the 3-year annual maintenance contract, bundled into the price of the SUV.
