2025 Tata Altroz Facelift Interior & Features Revealed

Tata Motors has released a new video on YouTube which reveals the interior cabin and a few segment-first features of the 2025 Altroz facelift

The 2025 Tata Altroz facelift will officially break cover on May 9 in the Indian market. The price announcement will happen a couple of weeks later on May 22, with deliveries commencing shortly. The homegrown automaker has revealed the interior cabin and features of the new hatch in a video posted on YouTube. A few days back, it had released yet another video on its Youtube channel showcasing the exterior design of the hatchback. The 2025 Altroz facelift will rival Hyundai i20, Maruti Baleno and Toyota Glanza in the domestic market.

Tata has made significant updates in the styling as well as the cabin of the hatchback. The company has introduced a new dashboard design while the digital instrument cluster has been upgraded as well with Google Maps compatibility. The new hatch will also boast of the latest two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo in the centre.

Tata Motors has left no stone unturned to make the 2025 Altroz a premium offering with newly designed seats and an upmarket upholstery. It also gets a 360-degree camera and a single-pane sunroof with voice assist function. The 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system is bigger than before and the latest one which we recently saw in other company cars such as the Curvv, Nexon and Punch.

As for the exterior, it will have restyled LED headlamps with fresh DRL units. The front grille has also been tweaked while the redesigned bumper houses the LED fog lamps. The 2025 Tata Altroz facelift will come with retracted door handles while riding on newly designed alloy wheels. At the rear end, the hatch packs an all-new LED tail-lamp cluster which is connected through a slim LED light bar on both the sides.

Mechanically, the 2025 Altroz facelift is likely to be unchanged with the same engine options at the helm. The hatch will come with 1.2L petrol, 1.5L diesel and 1.2L turbocharged petrol engines. The transmission choices will also be retained from the ongoing version of the car.

Tata Altroz is the only hatchback in India to come with a diesel engine. It is the first major update for the premium hatch ever since it went on sale in January 2020. Recently, It witnessed a steep decline in monthly sales as numbers went down to just 2000 units, whereas Tata used to sell nearly 5000 units a month during FY21. Hence, the facelifted version could help the brand gain back some much-needed sales momentum.
